Serok komarê me yê birêz hûn bi xêr hatine Mêrdînê

Turkish President Abdullah Gül visited the city of Mardin (Mêrdîn) today where signs welcomed him in Turkish, Kurdish, and Syriac.  Mardin is also home to Mardin Artuklu University where their Living Languages Institute just started a graduate programme in Kurdish language and literature.

  1. I believe it is only a matter of time before the Turkish government starts to arrest people who took part in the writing and posting of these signs and link them to “separatism” and “terrorism”.

  2. but i think they already know that nobody, including turks is able to stop KURDISTAN.

  3. Corduene you are living in your world of hate:) no they have not arrested anyone. I am sure this will make you sad because you want to see hate, fight:)
